Art Lab is a school of fine and applied art located in Staten Island, New York on the grounds of Snug Harbor Cultural Center. The school was founded in 1975 by a group of professional artists who wanted to give Staten Island a home where quality art instruction, exhibitions and events could take place. Today, Art Lab continues this tradition in providing exceptional art opportunities to Staten Island and the greater metropolitan community.

• "SEE ME" Call for Art
  From the beginning of time, artists have portrayed themselves through the vehicle of self portrait. Art Lab would like to see what this means to our local community. Any artists, beginner or accomplished, can submit a self portrait to the "SEE ME" exhibition.
  
  Entries cannot be larger than 20x24 inches. One entry per participant is allowed per $15 hanging fee.
  
  Drop off dates from August 28th - 31st. Opening reception to be held September 12th from 2-4pm.
  


• Now Showing at Art Lab:
  United Cerebral Palsy of New York City, Brooklyn & Staten Island participants' artwork, (framed by artist Eve Le Ber). You'll be awed and amazed at the beauty of the work and the joy and pride of the student artists, (many severely handicapped). Now through August 29th.
