Art Lab is a school of fine and applied art located in Staten Island, New York on the grounds of Snug Harbor Cultural Center. The school was founded in 1975 by a group of professional artists who wanted to give Staten Island a home where quality art instruction, exhibitions and events could take place. Today, Art Lab continues this tradition in providing exceptional art opportunities to Staten Island and the greater metropolitan community.

• The Art of Wine with Deb McCole 199.2 $45 per session. First session: January 22, Sun 2pm- 4pm

  Warm yourself up this winter with a special course at the Art Lab. Deb McCole, The Wine Girl will take you on a culinary trip through all you need to know about Wine. Each session will include something to assist you in making informed decisions about this beverage.

  The first class will center on the composition of a wine; just as a painting or a drawing has a composition, so does a wine. We will meet on Sunday afternoons, once a month in Art Lab's gallery. You must be 21 to attend.
